Ordering

When we should have top up for our bean bags?

We best recommend to have top up every after months to 1 year of use of the loungers to maintain its shape and structure. Given our products are all soft furniture, kindly expect to top it up every so often, especially if the bean bags are used on a regular basis. As it was filled with polystyrene beads, air compressed beads whenever they use.

What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

What happens if the bean bag I want is out of stock?

Demand for our bean bags has been very high and despite our best intentions, we may temporarily be out of stock of some items or colours. Our automated ordering service will not allow orders to process when there are stock-outs. Please contact us to find out how long we may be out of stock and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this time. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Should the item(s) not work out, make sure to exchange for a preferred style or return for a refund. As a reminder, domestic return shipping is free.

Can I change my order if i change my mind?

Certainly, you can change your order at no cost providing it has not been filled or dispatched already. Should you wish to make a change then please contact us via phone or email quoting your order number.

What if i want to purchase in quantity?

We have many requests for functions and multi-purchases. We offer discount on such bulk purchases to private consumers and non-wholesale businesses. If you would like to enquire about a bulk discount, please use our contact form only orders of 10 or more will be considered for any discounts.

Is it safe to buy online with ambient lounge?

Your purchase is secure with us. Ambient Lounge is an online retailer of designer bean bags. We aren't a bank. That is why we use UK's most trusted payment provider - Shopify Payments (Powered by Stripe) & PayPal to process our transactions. We have full SSL certification please take note of the padlock on the ordering page.

Shipping

How long does delivery take once shipped?

For our Single Lounger with Premium bean filling, delivery will just take 2-3 working days via DPD while for our Modular Set, delivery takes 3-5 weeks as we ship them prefilled and ready to lounge. You will receive a notification re the shipment details from both couriers once your loungers are ready to ship. For our new filling SoLuxe™, same with Modular Set, shipment for our single loungers will take around 3-5 weeks as we ship them prefilled.

Please note that you will receive the Bean Bag beans and the bean bag cover together, they come with the patented Funnelweb system that allows you to fill your bean bag to your own personal comfort levels. For any questions about the filling please do not hesitate to contact us or consult our filling page. You will receive enough bean bag beads to fill you bean bag and often have a little bit left over for top ups. UPS will arrange a suitable delivery time slot, as the product must be signed for on delivery. Should you need to contact us about your order, please use the email address info@ambientlounge.co.uk and quote your order number or give us a call.

What is the shipping policy?
  • If you are ordering a product from another country, you may be responsible to pay Customs Import Duty in order to receive your item. This is your responsibility and not that of Ambient Lounge UK.
  • If you purchase multiple items you will be responsible for the combined costs of Shipping. With bean bag beads and covers, your products will arrive separately.
  • For beads you should ensure that you will be available at your specified delivery address at the time and date of the estimated shipping arrival. This could be a home address, or a work address for example. Our courier will contact you to arrange a time. If you are not available to receive the item, the courier will normally try to deliver your item the following day. However, you could be liable for a returned item fee, as well as the additional cost to redeliver your item. For covers, they are conveniently mailed to your address via DPD with trackable service.
  • If you have special delivery requirements, or would like to add a note for the Courier (for example "the bell doesn't work"), you can do this during the checkout process.
  • For urgent deliveries or special help, please call us and we'll be happy to try and assist your needs. Additional costs for 24-48 hour service may apply
  • If you're thinking of returning an item, please read our returns policy and contact us so that we may provide you with the correct returns address for your item. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns unless the product is faulty/damaged.

What is your returns policy?

We encourage you to feel safe with your purchase decision and we back our products and quality. We offer a 14 DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE - All orders place with Ambient Lounge (UK) Ltd are covered by a 14 day money back guarantee. If within 14 days of receipt you are not satisfied with your order, you are entitled to an identical replacement (if in stock) or a refund of the cost of the goods (excluding all delivery costs) providing the goods have not been used. Goods purchased on our website can be returned for a full refund under our refund policy provided that you have first contacted us within 14 days of the purchase and the goods are then returned in a condition deemed suitable by us for resale. Please note that we cannot refund any cost for postage that you may have paid, unless we have sent you an item incorrectly or the item is deemed to be faulty. Please note, we individually check all returns and if we consider the fault to be as a result of self-damage, then a refund will not be given.

For your own protection when returning any goods, we suggest that you use recorded delivery, requiring our signature upon receipt of the goods, as we will not issue refunds for any goods that fail to reach us. Your statutory rights are not affected. Alternative option for return is to use our own courier and pay for the return fee. Please note that we do not cover return fees if the reason for the return is solely a customer decision. We only cover return fees for faulty or damaged products.
